Watch Emma Stone at: Emma Stone Nude
From her performances in hit comedies like "Superbad," "Zombieland," and many recently "Easy A," there isn't any doubt that Emma Stone is among the finest female comedic stars of her generation. So that it concerned time individuals at "Saturday Night Live" finally caught on and asked the 21-year-old star to host a chapter. Here's what we considered Emma's "SNL" debut from this weekend:
Things started off rather strong having a monologue that poked fun at how Emma is becoming the article of numerous a nerd's affections as a result of her roles in raunchy comedies and being cast in the upcoming "Spider-Man" movie. "SNL" cast members Kenan Thompson, Bill Hader and Andy Samberg all played geeked out admirers hoping to make out with Emma, while Bobby Moynihan and Taran Killam dropped in as her "Superbad" costars Jonah Hill and Michael Cera (newbie Taran totally nailed Michael's awkward mannerisms, wouldn't you say?)
Emma's first actual skit found her playing an indifferent television home makeover show winner. As opposed to Kristen Wiig's overly excited host, Emma earned laughs by playing the straight (wo)man, something she's pretty great at. The actress scored again when she played a befuddled teen being interviewed about crazy devious high school graduation behavior (develop none of you Crushers out there are receiving high off expired soup!).
But, Emma really begun to shine within the "Digital Short" by which she played a Ke$ha-like pop star whose music video features her singing about slipping and falling in a few grape jelly, and, ultimately, breaking almost everything in their body. The clip was silly (yep, the grape jelly sang!) however it was definitely poking fun at a few of the equally ridiculous pop songs available today. Read the clip...and for goodness sake, sign her cast!
Fans of Emma know that the actress is usually called something of a "Lindsay Lohan gone right," so i was excited to determine what "SNL" would do having her take part in the troubled star for "The View" sketch. Unfortunately, there wasn't much for Emma to complete as LiLo (and while we love her, the imitation wasn't the maximum) and she was outshone by Fred Armisen and his awesome Joy Behar impression ("So what? Who cares?!")
Needless to say, it didn't take very long for Emma to get back on course. She was especially cute within the "Les Jeunes de Paris" sketch in which she participated within the funniest dance-offs you have ever seen that you experienced. She even reached get in touch with that nerdy side she was talking about in their monologue when she played a dorky teen pal inside the skit "My Brother Knows Everything" (investigate it below!).
Whilst it wasn't the best episode (though it did, thankfully, usher within the return of Stefon during "Weekend Update"!), Emma would have been a near-perfect host. She showed off her naturally funny side, even while allowing her always-likable personality to stand out. It certainly didn't hurt that musical guests Kings of Leon rocked the home with a few of their new tunes, but I think it's pretty reliable advice (or at best wish) until this will not be Emma's last appearance on "SNL"!
Actress Emma Stone who replaced Kirsten Dunst inside the Spiderman reboot, a tattoo designed by Beatles legend Paul McCartney to celebrate her mother's recovery from breast cancers. The 21-year-old actress told David Letterman on the Late Show that McCartney designed the inking, which both she and her mother can get etched. "I wrote a letter to Paul McCartney asking him if however draw two little bird feet, while he wrote the song.
And yesterday, he sent the crooks to me. We now have never gotten tattoos before and probably never will again," the 'Easy A' star said while discussing the Beatles' hit number 'Blackbird' which has been published by McCartney. "My mom's favorite song is 'Blackbird,' and it's really my favorite song too.Two years ago tomorrow she got clinically determined to have breast cancers, and she's out from the woods now, which can be amazing," she said on the program a week ago. Stone was thrilled by McCartney's response. "Custom tattoos by Paul McCartney. Isn't that wild," she said.
